Everybody has at least one photo that holds great meaning to them. Perhaps it was our first attempt with our new camera or it may simply be part of an old family album or on our walls at home.

As World Photography Day nears, now is the time to honor this artform we love and highlight meaningful photos taken by members of our thriving photography community online.

Photographers were invited to submit photos that meant something significant to them; their responses were thoughtful, emotive, amusing and unforgettable – definitely worthy of sharing!
