Continuously Celebrating International Women’s Day: A Twitter Space Showcase with Black Women Photographers”
One of the greatest advantages of social media photography for photographers is being able to quickly connect with fellow creatives from all around the world and from different walks of life.
Now more than ever it’s easier than ever to share stories, support each other, and learn from one another across time zones, nations, and screens.
Experienced photographers always delight me by sharing the work they are producing in various communities they come from, as well as why photography plays such an integral part in their lives.
We partnered with Black Women Photographers this International Women’s Day to celebrate their work and open up an inspiring Twitter Space conversation, commemorating International Women’s Day.
Listen in below, and then continue reading to hear our full conversation, as well as for highlights – including some fantastic advice for fellow photographers, gear preferences from our featured guests, and shout-outs to the important women in their lives.
Elsie Kibue-Ngare, Amanda Cain, Betty Tamrat and Jillian Atkinson provided cover images.
