National Photography Month: The Influence of Visual Storytelling

Photography is our go-to form of storytelling. Each photograph holds an irreplaceable memory or snapshot in time that we cherish and can revisit countless times over.

Photography offers something valuable to all types of audiences regardless of genre or specialization, regardless of its genre or specialization. Photography serves as a universal language yet each individual may walk away with something individual – be it lessons learned, smiles shared or new perspectives gained – which is one reason we love photography so much!

Below you’ll find stories of wanderlust and travel, personal reflection and artistic creation, exciting celebrations in pro sports world and intimate cultural traditions from across the globe.

Sara Kempner, Julia Wimmerlin, Azim Khan Ronnie, Brace Hemmelgarn, Essdras M Suarez Chris Mast and Zay Yar Lin have shared these amazing photography stories as part of National Photography Month celebrations on PhotoShelter.
